1. About Nowhop and these Terms
These Terms are between you and Clayee Co., Ltd., a company incorporated in the Republic of Korea, for the Nowhop website, its demo and any Nowhop development build made available to you. They do not replace the terms for ViviDiary or combine the two apps’ records. Review these Terms before using Nowhop. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Nowhop is currently in development. The website is a preview with sample schedules, routes, imagery and exploration records. It is not the native app and does not offer an App Store download. Described functionality may change before release.

2. Eligibility and your device
You must be at least 16 or have the legally required consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. Nowhop is not intended for children under 13. If local law requires a higher age or additional parental authorization, those requirements apply. You must have the legal capacity to agree, or an authorized guardian must agree on your behalf.
The app is designed for supported iPhones and iOS versions. You are responsible for securing your device, using a passcode and controlling who can view its screens or exported files. There is no Nowhop account, shared login or automatic cross-device synchronization in the current build.
3. Planning, discovery and exploration
Plan organizes everyday commitments and travel periods, including dates, stays and transfers. Discover can help you choose an optional place and review when to add it. Calendar import makes selected local copies; it does not edit the original calendar or guarantee continuing synchronization.
A planned stop is an intention, not a reservation, ticket or proof of attendance. Nowhop is not a travel agent, booking service or transport operator. Confirm opening hours, prices, accessibility, bookings and transport conditions with the relevant provider.
Map and Passport use accepted movement records separately from Plan. Swiping a place, adding an appointment or changing a map style does not prove a visit or create a walked path. Geographic coverage is an estimate based on available records and boundaries, not a legal survey, competition result or guarantee of complete tracking.
4. Maps, routes and real-world use
Maps, Look Around, directions, travel-time estimates and public geographic data may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. A street image is not a live view. Availability varies by place, connection and device. Follow real signs, access restrictions and local conditions; do not trespass or use the app while doing something that requires your attention.
Location collection depends on permissions, signal and iOS conditions. Force-quitting the app, disabling permissions or gaps in usable location updates can interrupt recording. Stored records and cached geometry do not guarantee a complete offline Apple base map, new place searches or new routes. Background operation can use battery and mobile data.
Nowhop is not an emergency, rescue, safety-monitoring or professional navigation service. Contact the appropriate local service in an emergency.
5. Your records, sharing and intellectual property
You retain your rights in the plans, notes and other content you create. Using Nowhop does not give us a general right to publish your private records, use them in advertising or train AI on them. The app processes local content to provide the functions you use. If you send information to support, you authorize its use to resolve that request.
Sharing is optional and initiated by you. You are responsible for having the rights and permission needed to share content, especially another person’s private information. Review the preview and destination. Once sent, a recipient may retain or forward the content independently of Nowhop.
Nowhop software, branding and original interface artwork belong to the company or its licensors. Apple Maps imagery and public map data retain their own ownership, attribution and license terms. Do not remove required credits or assume that a share feature grants unrestricted rights to underlying map imagery. Product names in comparisons do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
6. Local storage and backups
The app keeps personal records on your device. We cannot restore a local database from a Nowhop server. The private record folder is excluded from automatic device backup; create and safeguard a manual export if you need a recoverable copy.
A manual .nowhopbackup contains stored photo originals and personal records; videos, generated movies and public map caches are excluded. Legacy clips remain on the original phone, and older JSON files restore records only. Backup content is readable, can contain precise routes and photos, and has no separate Nowhop password or encryption. Restoring adds missing data without replacing existing values. If you choose iCloud Drive or another destination, its rules, capacity, protection and upload timing apply. Files export success is not proof of completed cloud upload. App deletion, device loss or damaged files may result in data loss if you have no usable backup. Keep copies of important records and confirm a backup before relying on it.

7. Acceptable use
Use Nowhop lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and safety. Do not use it to stalk someone, record another person’s location without authorization, distribute malware, attack the website or access systems without permission. Do not misuse Apple or public-data services through the app, falsify rights to content or remove required attribution. Statutory rights to interoperability, research or other lawful use are not removed by these Terms.
8. External services and charges
Apple Maps, your calendar accounts, public-map hosts, the website host and apps or storage destinations you choose have their own terms. Nowhop does not control their availability or policies. Our shared company contact with ViviDiary does not enroll you in that app’s services or subscription.
This website does not take payments or sell a Nowhop subscription. The Pricing page shows Early Access and planned regular US monthly and yearly prices for review, not an available purchase. Offer eligibility, duration and renewal pricing will be disclosed before purchase. Any future purchase requires separate pricing and purchase information before you agree; these Terms do not authorize an automatic charge.
If Nowhop is later distributed through the App Store, the applicable Apple distribution and license terms will also apply. Unless a valid custom app license is supplied, Apple provides a Standard EULA. Nothing here promises App Store approval or overrides mandatory platform rules.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but a development preview can contain errors and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. To the extent allowed by law, it is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, perfect map accuracy or recovery of every record.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud, intentional misconduct or personal injury where the law prohibits a limitation. Your mandatory rights take priority over general availability statements. These Terms do not impose a blanket waiver of those rights.
10. Ending use and updates
You can stop using Nowhop at any time. Export anything you wish to keep before deleting the app. We may restrict access to hosted services or end permission to use a preview for unlawful use, serious violations or security reasons, subject to applicable law. That does not give us remote access to erase your device’s private records.
Updated Terms will show a new date. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate, and any consent or acceptance required by law will be obtained. Changes do not retrospectively authorize new processing of private records.
11. Questions, disputes and mandatory rights
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve an issue. This does not restrict your right to contact a regulator, seek an urgent remedy or bring a claim within a legal deadline.
Applicable law determines the governing rules and courts with jurisdiction, including mandatory protections in your place of residence. You may bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive collective remedies available under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted.
