When a detailed itinerary helps
Wanderlog presents an itinerary beside a map and supports collaboration, reservations, lists and expenses. Its site lists offline access and route optimization among Pro features. If several people need to edit a trip together, that breadth may be exactly what you want.
Start with one real trip: two people, four days, a hotel change and a dinner reservation. Ask whether the tool makes those decisions easier. A smaller interface is only an improvement if the work you need still fits.
If the problem is scattered bookings
TripIt describes forwarding confirmation emails to build an itinerary and accessing plans across devices. That is a useful starting point when flight and hotel details are spread across your inbox.
A reservation organizer and a blank day planner solve different problems. If your hardest moment is finding a confirmation, prioritize retrieval. If it is choosing what happens between arrival and dinner, evaluate the day view and the way places become scheduled stops.
If you mostly need a clear day
Apple Calendar supports multiple calendars and lets you select which ones to display. For a small number of timed commitments, that may be sufficient. You do not need another travel app just because a day happens somewhere new.
Nowhop’s development build treats everyday plans and travel periods as related views. A trip groups dates, stays and transfers; All plans keeps your wider schedule available. Discover is optional: a chosen place can become a timed plan after you review its fit. This is a personal workflow, not a claim to replace group editing, booking-email parsing or an expense ledger.
Try a change without moving everything
Recreate one day, not your entire travel archive. Check how the planner handles a changed start time, an overnight stay, a location with no street address and a cancellation. Then open its day route. A neat line between stops should not be confused with a route you have actually walked.
Nowhop remains in development. The browser preview is useful for comparing interaction and visual clarity; it does not prove real-world navigation, calendar synchronization or offline performance.
